Michael L. Nimaroff, M.D.

Dr. Nimaroff is the Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology for Northwell Health.  He is also  an Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine.  Dr. Nimaroff also serves as the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.  He has practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology for over two decades and was among the first physicians to offer gynecologic robotic procedures in the metropolitan area. Dr. Nimaroff has a special interest in minimally invasive treatments for fibroids and hysterectomy alternatives.  Additionally, Dr Nimaroff performs laparoscopic abdominal cerclages (TLAC), a specialized procedure performed to treat cervical insufficiency. He uses a multidisciplinary and individualized treatment approach including hormonal management, minimally invasive and robotic techniques, and radiologic interventions. Dr. Nimaroff is committed to excellent patient care through research, education, and clinical experience.
