Michael L. Nimaroff, M.D.
Dr. Nimaroff is the Chief of Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, and a Clinical Professor of Ob/Gyn at New York University School of Medicine. He has practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology for nearly two decades. Dr. Nimaroff has been a leader in the field of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and was among the first physicians to offer gynecologic robotic procedures in the metropolitan area. He remains in the forefront of this field and has developed one of the first gynecologic robotic surgical programs in New York.
Dr. Nimaroff has a special interest in treatment of fibroids and hysterectomy alternatives. He uses a multidisciplinary and individualized treatment approach including hormonal management, minimally invasive and robotic techniques, and radiologic interventions. Dr. Nimaroff is committed to excellent patient care through research, education, and clinical experience. He is a frequent lecturer and has published many articles in this specialty of gynecology.
